Bboy Summit 2010 .:Oct 09 10:.
Another first in my book. Shout out to Kumari, Belle, and Alexis for the
hook up. It wasn’t what I expected, but it was pretty fresh
nonetheless. You straight up had a Locking, Popping, Waacking, House,
and Bboy/Bgirl battle. With shows in between. Mad styles in the
building. The craziest thing though was the 41 contestants for the
popping battle. Apparently, LA don’t play with the popping skills. A few
cats even had beef all day which resulted in them handling it on stage.
Pretty fresh. Luckily, I managed to record the house battles WHILE
taking pictures. Mad love for the style. So enjoy suckas.

Filam Festival 2010 .:Oct 09 10:.
This was the first time I’ve been to the festival. All I can say is that
it was mad fun people watching. You had hella high school kids rolling
around in clicks forming bigger clicks with other clicks. Then you had
the “couple walk” where the guy pretty much walks in sync behind his
girl while holding her. Straight comedy. You also had the cats from the
hood throwing up the gang signs while walking around with the biggest
pitbull I’ve ever seen. I would’ve asked to take pictures, but I’m not
going to lie. I was scared. Also, peep the Pinoy Apparel hat. Super
fresh. It reads Phillipines one way, then it reads Los Angles upside
down. Mad ill.

Bigge - Nasty Boy (Eclektic Remix) .:Oct 09 10:.
You gotta love them Biggie acapellas. Nice little uptempo beat by
King Mos over a ill rhymes by Mr. Wallace. Can’t go wrong. And it’s Dj
friendly. So play this in the car and the club. I usually only send

I was out digging last week
and managed to find this record in the two dollar bin. I didn’t know
what was on it nor did I listen. It just looked interesting for some
reason. So I bought it and as soon as I got home and put it on the
platter . . . . I was thinking “it’s alright.” That was until I got to
this song. First off, the track is some feel good. Second, the lady is
singing in Portuguese I think, which sounds sexy as hell. Now it’s being

World Of Dance SD 8.28.10 .:Aug 31 10:.
I didn’t expect myself to be attending this event. But shout out to
Samath, World Famous, and Kidragon for being able to hook it up with a
pass. Another thing I didn’t expect was seeing such dope battles. Which
in return, caused me to run out of space on my memory card. So I
basically said eff it and drove home to pick up my other cards. I was
also hyped to have two fresh crews go out. Calamaties and Freakshow.
They most definitely know how to please the crowd. Be sure to check out
the video. The battle was pretty RAW.

Long Beach Funky Festival .:Aug 08 10:.
Another trip north for another fresh event. This time, Long Beach was
holding it down P Funk style. You had an eclectic set of people walking
around this event. The best thing was seeing the old school cats who
grew up during the Parliament and Jimmy Castor Bunch era strutting there
stuff and grooving to the music. They still had style. Check out the
videos I managed to capture of some iLL street drummers doing there
thing alongside Junko kicking it down and Jimmy Castor Bunch performing
It’s Just Begun. CLASSIC.
