Well … I’ve decided to finally start a little project that I’ve been wanting to do for quite an effin while now. Why haven’t I started?
Because I’m lazy.
Soooooo with it being the New Year, I might as well jump straight into it. GETTING’ PRO-ACTIVE SON! The only thing I need to work on now is getting myself an Iron Gym thingy to get my Bruce Lee swole on for the summertime. Knamean? New project. The plan is to photograph my fellow dj’s in their work environment. Hence the name “Selector’s Soundspace.” I’ll also plan on asking basic questions so you can at least get to know these individuals. It’s always interesting to hear from other talented artists, especially when it comes to their craft. Who knows? Someone’s most cherished record kept in pristine condition might be Sisqo’s “Thong Song.” Who knows?
And for those that have heard of the book “Bedroom Rockers” put out by Adidas … yup. Similar stuff. But I’m looking to getting a little more in depth. In any case, I don’t really care. Just wanted to put that on the table. ☺
Now to get to the juicy part. Since I’ve been so lazy on following up with other dj’s about documenting their cave, I figured I’d start with myself … interviewing myself … so you other sound selectors know what to look forward to later (but in a more serious sense).
